The CDA Institute is a charitable and non-partisan organization whose mandate is to provide research support to the Conference of Defence Associations (CDA) and promote informed public debate on national security and defence issues. It fulfills its mandate through activities such as the Vimy Award Dinner, the Annual Seminar, the Annual Graduate Student Symposium, publications such as the Vimy Papers, and hosting regular roundtable and speaking engagements.

Donors to the CDA Institute, in addition to joining a high-level network of individuals interested in security and defence issues, receive the following benefits for 12 months following their donation:

• A charitable donation tax receipt;
• Four issues of the CDA Institute’s quarterly magazine, ON TRACK;
• Advance copies of all other CDA Institute publications, such as the Vimy Papers;
