The CDA Institute is a charitable and non-partisan organization whose mandate is to promote informed public debate on national security and defence issues. It fulfills its mandate through activities such as the Vimy Award Dinner, the annual Ottawa Conference on Defence & Security, the annual Graduate Student Symposium, publications, and hosting regular roundtable and speaking engagements.

Donors to the CDA Institute, in addition to joining a high level network of individuals interested in security and defence issues, receive the following benefits for 12 months following their donation:

• A charitable donation receipt for income tax purposes.
• Four issues of the CDA Institute’s quarterly magazine, On Track, and advance copies of all other CDA Institute publications.
• A discount registration rate at the annual Ottawa Conference on Defence & Security.
