The CDA Institute invites nominations for the 2010 Vimy Award. Nominations are due August 1, 2010.

The CDA Institute invites graduate students to submit proposals for the 13th annual graduate student symposium on “Canada’s Security Interests,” which will be held at the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario on October 28-29, 2010. Submissions are due September 23, 2010.

14 June 2010: The CDA Institute hosted US Deputy Secretary of Defense, William J. Lynn, III in Ottawa on June 14. Mr. Lynn spoke on Canada-US defence relations, Afghanistan and cyber security. A transcript of his remarks are available.

5 March 2010: The CDA Institute and CDA recently concluded their annual seminar and AGM in Ottawa on March 3-4. The event was a great success with over 500 people attending. Presentations from the seminar and AGM will be posted as they become available.
